Perfect Flow #6: Bants with K Day

  • by

In this episode of the Perfect Flow Podcast I banter with running nut Kristian Day, or K Day for short. Kristian and I got into trail running around the same time as teenagers, him from a road running background and I from orienteering. We caught up casually when I was in Wellington recently and shared some yarns over our love of running as a discipline and as a community. Initially, this was more of a “why not?” recording because Kristian is just a such a good dude. But, in hind sight, hearing the ups, downs, insights and philosophies of a mere mortal (sorry bro) brings a different, and complementary, sense of relevance than I get from an international super star. We spend so much time trying to copy the best that we might be missing some learning opportunities closer to home.
