It’s been almost 2 years since I had this website operating so it is super exciting to be here again! My motivation for everything right now is at an all-time high and I hope to share some great experiences through this blog.

I have had this on my mind for a while and a hope this website will serve as a great platform to communicate with those around me on my journey. Journey to where? Well currently the dream is to grab some top 10 results at World University Orienteering Champs in August this year, followed by the same placings at World Cup in Tasmania next January. Another big dream that I’m really excited about is to get into the NZ mountain running team next year. Although I have placed very well in some big trial races I have never done anything towards representing a club, let alone New Zealand, in this discipline. I have been very inspired by Tim Robertson’s and Tane Cambridge’s effort in the past years and will definitely be giving it a crack!
This year has already seen a fair amount of racing so I will catch up on a few high lights in my next blog post. You will also be sure to see plenty of hype about AOTC as we continue to strive for perfection in our orienteering with a number of cult members heading overseas to JWOC this year. So keep an eye out for some quality content coming very soon!
